4th Annual General Meeting of AmFIRST Real Estate Investment Trust

I attended AmFIRST Real Estate Investment Trust's 4th Annual General Meeting at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel Kuala Lumpur last Thursday as a proxy.  

In their announcement at Bursa as well as their letters to shareholders, they stated that the commencement of the meeting was at 10:00am.   But it actually started only at 10:30am.

Upon registration for the meeting, I was given a meal voucher.   I went to another room where they gave me a plastic bag in exchange for my meal voucher.   The plastic bag contained these items:

 

 

 

 

 

I took the plastic bag home.

 

4th Annual General Meeting of Barakah Offshore Petroleum Bhd

I attended Barakah Offshore Petroleum Bhd's 4th Annual General Meeting at the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort in Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan yesterday as a proxy.  

Upon registration, I was asked to collect my door gift.   It was an umbrella.
 

Breakfast was provided.   It included the following:
- fried rice
- Singapore fried meehoon
- assortment of malay kuih-muih.

I took only a cup of coffee as I already had my breakfast before coming and would like to save my stomach for the lunch.

The meeting commenced at 10:00am and ended at about 10:40am.

Lunch was provided after the meeting.   It was a buffet spread with 7 different items.   The items included the following (as recalled from my memory):

- steamed white rice
- mamak mee
- curry chicken with potatoes
- sweet sour fish
- black pepper beef
- fried beancurd with minced chicken meat
- fried broccoli with garlic.

There was also mushroom soup.

Dessert comprised 4 different types of fruits (rockmelon, pineapple, watermelon and honeydew melon) and a variety of kuih-muih.

The lunch items had not arrived when we reached the dining hall as probably nobody had expected the meeting to be over so early.   However, the dessert items were already there.

By the time I had taken my share of dessert items, most of the lunch items had also arrived.

 

 

12th Annual General Meeting of TH Heavy Engineering Bhd

I attended TH Heavy Engineering Bhd's 12th Annual General Meeting at the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort in Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan today as a proxy.  

The meeting commenced at 2:30pm and ended at about 3:30pm.

 

 

 

 

Refreshment was provided after the meeting.  

 

The food comprised 5 items and included the following (as recalled from my memory):

- seafood spaghetti aglio olio

- deep fried boneless chicken

- fried dim sum

- chicken pie

- assorted cakes.

I managed to try only 4 items.   By the time I reached the fried dim sum container, it was already empty.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

14th Annual General Meeting of Three-A Resources Bhd

I attended Three-A Resources Bhd's 14th Annual General Meeting at the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort in Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan today as a proxy.  

The meeting commenced at 11:00am and ended short and sweet at 11:40am.

Lunch was provided after the meeting.   The food was delicious.

It was a buffet spread with 13 different items.   The items included the following (as recalled from my memory):
- fried mee mamak
- Singapore fried mee hoon
- steamed rice
- chicken redang
- chicken teriyaki
- fried fish fillet with ginger and onion
- deep fried calamari
- fish fillet in thai sauce
- fried mixed vegetables
- steamed yam cake
- sardines curry
and 2 other items that have slipped my mind.

Dessert comprised 4 different types of fruits (rockmelon, pineapple, watermelon and honeydew melon) and red bean soup.

 

Food was plentiful and was still in abundance when I had finished and left with my stomach full.



 

31st Annual General Meeting of Telekom Malaysia Bhd

I attended Telekom Malaysia Bhd's 31st Annual General Meeting at the Menara TM in Kuala Lumpur today as a proxy.   The meeting commenced at 10:00am and I left before it ended.

 

Upon registration, I was given a gift coupon with which I exchanged for the gifts.   These were what I got as gifts:

 

 

 

  

Breakfast was provided.   It included nasi lemak, some kuih-muih and coffee, tea and mineral water.

 

 

 

 

The meeting was held at the Kristal Hall of the TM Convention Centre.   A picture of the meeting in progress is shown below.

 

 

 

 

 

50th Annual General Meeting of Public Bank Bhd

I attended Public Bank Bhd's 50th Annual General Meeting at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur today.   The meeting commenced at 11:00am and ended at about 12:30pm.

 

Upon registration, I was given a souvenir coupon, a food coupon and a parking coupon.

 

I queued to exchange the souvenir coupon for the souvenir items.   These were what I got as souvenirs:

 

 

 

Then I queued for the food.   This was the lunch box that I got:

 

 

 

The food in the container included the following (in clockwise order from the upper left corner):

• 1 wrapped glutinous rice with diced chicken and mushroom
1 stick of 2 chicken lollipops
2 turkey and cheese sandwiches


• 2 fruit tartlets
• 1 packet of chilli sauce
• 2 mini golden spiral curry puffs
• 2 prawn kataifis
• 1 deep fried salmon and yam puff

The food was nice.
